Espace Périple kindly invites you to the exhibition «mémoire atemporelle» by painter Miltos Pantelias from 20 November to15 December 2018.

Opening on Tuesday 21 November from 6 to 9pm.

Born in Athens in 1954, Miltos Pantelias studied engraving and lithography at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts and Art Plastiques at Paris 8 University in Paris where he lived for eleven years . The cultural ambience of Paris will be a continous source of inspiration for the artist who lives and works actually in Athens.

Since 1975 he has presented his artwork in thirty individual exhibitions in Greece, France, Cyprus, Belgium and UK and several group exhibitions and art meetings in Greece and abroad. He has also made numerous engravings and lithographies for special numbered editions.

Paper’s fragility and sensibility becomes a predilection place for Miltos Pantelias’art works. The oscillation between painting and drawing under sepia undulations and his wanderings between the image and the script spread over his canvases a mist of palimpsest of matter and time, the time of the confused memory. His artwork is included in many important public and private collections in Greece and abroad.
